Benefits Summary

Nutritional food, nutrition education and other services for pregnant women, breast-feeding women and families with a young child.


Provides the following at no cost: health screening at initial appointment for all applying family members; nutritional foods; nutrition education; help finding health care; breast-feeding support etc.

Eligibility Guidelines

Low income and nutritionally at risk; resident of this state; and are one of the following: pregnant, breast-feeding a baby under age 1, just had a baby, or have an infant or child under the age of 5. See web site for details.

How to apply

Contact or visit your local WIC office/clinic; see program web site for locations. Applicants who call first will be advised about what to bring to the WIC appointment to help determine eligibility. WIC staff will review income, residency, and other information with applicant.
