Benefits Summary

Free one-on-one counseling and assistance on all aspects of Medicare (parts A, B, C, D) and other medical benefit programs by trained counselors. This is the main ADMINISTRATIVE office. There are assistance locations throughout the state; see program web site. This program is known at the federal level as the State Health Insurance Information Program (SHIP).
 

Benefits

Assistance with Medicare: eligibility, enrollment, benefits; premiums, costs and claims; comparison of Part D prescription drug plans; Medigap supplemental insurance; health plan options; and programs which help pay Medicare premiums, deductibles, etc. Also, assistance with long term care options and Medicaid benefits, eligibility etc.
