COPD Resource Page
The COPD Resource page is intended to provide information on COPD and to streamline and simplify the way those with COPD may find assistance paying for their medications.
According to the COPD Foundation, Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD), is an umbrella term used to describe progressive lung diseases which include: emphysema, chronic bronchitis, refractory (irreversible) asthma, and severe bronchiectasis. Other names for COPD are Chronic Obstructive Lung Disease (COLD) and Chronic Lower Respiratory Disease (CLRD). Individuals with COPD begin to experience increased breathlessness and a cough that doesn't go away.
Patient Assistance Programs (PAPs) are programs offered by pharmaceutical companies to help those most in need gain access to their medications at no or low cost. Each program has varying financial and insurance guidelines - when in doubt, call the program. To find the specific PAP information for a specific drug click on the list below. You will then be taken to a listing of all the programs available for that medication.|
