The Asthma and Allergy Resource page is intended to provide information on these conditions and to streamline and simplify the way those with asthma and allergies may find assistance paying for their medications and treatment. Asthma is a chronic lung disease that inflames and narrows the airways. Asthma affects people of all ages, but it most often starts in childhood. In the United States, more than 22 million people are known to have asthma. Allergies are diseases of the immune system that cause an overreaction to substances called "allergens." About 50 million people have allergies. |
Patient Assistance Programs (PAPs) are programs offered by pharmaceutical companies to help those most in need gain access to their medications at no or low cost. Each program has varying financial and insurance guidelines - when in doubt, call the program. To find the specific PAP information for a specific drug click on the list below. You will then be taken to a listing of all the programs available for that medication.
