Rich is a graduate of the Medical College of Ohio at Toledo. After completing his family practice residency at the Eastern Maine Medical Center, Bangor, ME, he practiced family medicine and occupational medicine there for nearly 20 years. During that time he began NeedyMeds. He and his wife moved to Philadelphia where he practiced occupational medicine and ran NeedyMeds.
Rich has written articles on assistance programs and occupational medicine topics for a number of publications. He has given presentations on patient assistance programs and occupational medicine throughout the country. In addition to directing NeedyMeds, he runs the Pediatrics for Parents website (www.pedsforparents.com), a website on children's health, and publishes Pediatrics for Parents. Before joining NeedyMeds, Roberta was Executive Director of the Eastern Agency on Aging, Bangor, ME, and retired in May 2005, after 25 years of service.
Roberta serves on the Executive Council of AARP Maine, the Board of Directors of the Penobscot Valley Health Center, the University of Maine Center on Aging Advisory Council, the University of Maine School of Public Administration Advisory Council, the United Way of Eastern Maine's Senior Impact Council and is treasurer of the Maine Gerontological Society. Roberta graduated with a bachelors degree in history from the Brooklyn College, City University of New York, and earned a masters degree in public administration from the University of Maine. Jaye graduated from Colorado State University with a degree in Business Administration and attended the University of Hertfordshire in England to study art. Prior to joining NeedyMeds she was the Research and Development Manager at the Scleroderma Foundation's national headquarters. She now serves on the Board of Directors of the Alldredge Family Foundation. Originally from upstate New York, Jaye lived in Europe and now resides in Marblehead, MA with her husband and teenage daughter. She also has a son who is away at college

Ron Schornstein, VP of Business Development | ||

Ron has over 25 years experience in the life science industry and 10 years of experience providing patient assistance programs for pharmaceutical companies.
He has worked with over 30 pharmaceutical companies with their patient assistance and drug sampling programs.
Ron’s experience with PAPs includes the development and implementation of the largest non-profit discount card program in the U.S., the development of the first patient assistance and sampling internet portals, and instant activation for marketing and sample vouchers.

Rosella Park-Sagall, Graphics Coordinator | ||

Rosella has a background in graphic design and fine arts. She has a bachelors of fine arts and three years of postgraduate work in industrial design from Ohio State Universtiy.
She earned a M.A. in Museum Education from the University of the Arts in Philadelphia.

Vikki graduated from Yale University with a degree in history of science and medicine. She has worked in both medical and educational fields and joined NeedyMeds in 2005. Vikki edits Patient Advocate News, NeedyMeds' bi-monthly newsletter, and administrates the NeedyMeds forum. She is also the assistant editor and writer for Pediatrics for Parents. Chrissy Alexander, Research Associate | ||

A lifetime resident of the North Shore, Chrissy attended Salem State College and North Shore Community College where she studied creative writing and early childhood education. She has worked as a pre-school teacher, an after-school program coordinator, and as a writer for E&M Research Co.
Her responsibilities at NeedyMeds include maintaining the State and Application Assistance databases as well as listing all the drug discount coupons. Ben Hopkins, Research Associate | ||

Ben is originally from Omaha, Nebraska, where he attended school. He has lived in many parts of the country, most recently in Seattle where he met his wife. Since moving to Gloucester, Massachusetts, he has honed his skills in woodworking and now spends part of his time making custom furniture.
