Details This is a program of last resort to help parents of children under the age of 18 with autism spectrum disorder to pay for necessary biomedical treatments, supplements and therapy services. The maximum amount given per family is a one time grant of $1,500.
Eligibility Guidelines The patient must be at or under the age of 18, reside in the US and have been diangosed with an autism spectrum disorder. This program is intended only for parents in dire financial need.
How To Apply The application period is February 15 to May 15 annually. A new application will be available for download on February 15, 2010 and all applications remain active until the end of the year. Application must be mail to the Crystal Springs, MS addresss hown on the application. The application can be downloaded from the website. A letter from the child's doctor must be sent back with the completed application. If the request exceeds $300, a copy of the most recent tax form must be attached as well.
